My name is Elizabeth Powers. I am a mother of six children, three of which are biological; one was adopted from foster care and two are foster children (that we hope to adopt also). I wanted to write this book for social workers and foster parents to use as a helpful tool in order to explain to small children why they are being removed from their parents and their home. I hope that it will help children understand that it is not their fault, theyre not the only ones and its okay to be scared.
